Once again Miss Marple comes to the aid of Inspector Slack in this story originally published in 1942 (UK). In Strand Magazine it was titled The Perfect Maid and in Chicago Sunday Tribune it was called The Maid Who Disappeared.  It is published in Three Blind Mice and Other Stories.
