Notes and reviews

Christie refers to the nursery rhyme 'Sing a song a Sixpence' in this collection. It also features in A Pocket Full of Rye and the short story Four and Twenty Blackbirds. The hero of 'The Rajah's Emerald' is a young man called James Bond but there is no connection to the Ian Fleming spy series.
