Publishing: The short story collection 'The Hound Of Death And Other Stories' was published in 1933 by William Collins Sons & Co. in London. The most ingenious story within this collection 'Witness For the Prosecution was turned into a play twenty years later and opened at the Winter Garden Theatre, London on 28 October 1953. It was adapted for cinema release in 1957, directed by Billy Wilder and starred Charles Laughton, Marlene Dietrich and Tyrone Power.
