Sleeping Murder

Soon after Gwenda moves into her new home, odd things start to happen. Despite her best efforts to modernise the house, she only succeeds in dredging up its past. Publishing: First published in 1976 by William Collins Sons & Co. in London, and by Dodd, Mead & Co. in New York. TV: The novel was adapted in 1987 by the BBC with Joan Hickson as Marple, and was also shown on PBS in the U.S.

Notes and reviews

The novel chronicles the last case of Jane Marple, although the author wrote it during World War II. The book was then kept in a vault until its publication more than thirty years later.
