N or M?

This atmospheric story, set during World War Two, finds Tommy and Tuppence Beresford doing what they do best: having an adventure. These two unlikely spies help to defend their country by trying to track down two highly placed ruthless traitors. A dying government secret agent's last words are "N or M Song Susie". But which of the other guests at the Sans Souci boarding house is N and which is M?

Notes and reviews

The novel is one of two which the author worked on simultaneously during World War II while she stayed alone in London. She alternated writing 'Body in the Library' and 'N or M?' to keep herself "fresh at task."
