Curtain: Poirot's Last Case
Arthritic and immobilized, Poirot calls on his old friend Captain Hastings to join him at Styles to be the eyes and ears that will feed observations to Poirot's still razor sharp mind. The novel was actually written early in World War II, during the London Blitz, although not published until 1975. It had been placed in bank vaults, where it had remained until publication. Hastings returns as narrator in a novel for the first time since Dumb Witness in 1937. The novel is set at Styles - the location of the first Poirot novel.Murder methods:
