Previous How many HP books do you own?

Well, certainly not Poirot. I would drive him mad with my fairly disorganised ways and he would drive me mad with his OCD.
So I'd go for Hastings.

Just popping in: I believe I mght be able to vouch for my dear friend Miss Quin, but I'd rather wait her to go and reveal it herself...
JuliaUpjohn on 05 Aug 2010 at 7:25 a.m. GMT
Of those three: Hastings. Poirot is too organised (yet surprisngly romantic sometimes!).
If I could choose anyone, perhaps Raymond West?
MissQuin on 05 Aug 2010 at 8:57 a.m. GMT
Lawks! I don't fancy any of them. I like Hastings as a person, but not keen on taches! If he shaved it off, then Hastings.
Poirot would drive me mad with his tidiness. Japp's got too mundane a mind, I can't imagine him being romantic.
There's other AC males I much rather marry.
poirotsgirl on 05 Aug 2010 at 9:01 a.m. GMT
Yes agree Miss Quin - hastings a bit too weddy and not very exciting. He doesnt have a tash all the time though. Poirot - oh the idea alone is just gross - I wouldnt know where to start on that one! Jaap would want his fish and chips every friday and again he's too boring.
shall we cast the net wider? who would be the ultimate 'hottie'?
poirotsgirl on 05 Aug 2010 at 9:25 a.m. GMT
I'd be "do you have to spend so much time with elderly bachelors?!
hahahahahahahahahahah
MissQuin on 05 Aug 2010 at 1:14 p.m. GMT
But Hastings was in WW1 so he was a brave man. If you could have a fatnasy man mash up (I need to get out more lol) then what would it be.
Hastings niceness with
Charles dark good looks
David Hunter's sense of adventure?
HarleyBarley on 05 Aug 2010 at 1:30 p.m. GMT
I'm afraid I only know Hastings from that list, so I'll refrain from giving any verdict.
MissQuin on 05 Aug 2010 at 1:43 p.m. GMT
David Hunter from Taken At The Flood (attractive to women, Irish soldier, rebel, dangerous air to him)
Charles Arduell? Dumb Witness, charming scoundrel with lovely manners and openly impish but untrustworthy!
I think most Chrisite books have at least one charming man.
Puffinjill on 06 Aug 2010 at 8:14 a.m. GMT
I would agree with MissQuin about Richard Carey from Murder In Mesopotamia. He always sounds so attractive. Out in the desert, under the hot sun.........
MissQuin on 06 Aug 2010 at 12:18 p.m. GMT
So we'll fight over him?! Joking. Richard sounds nice though. Bills quite sweet too, I think Nurse becamse fond of him, but nurse weren't supposed to marry then.
Puffinjill on 06 Aug 2010 at 2:59 p.m. GMT
Fight over him?! I think one look at me and he would come running to you, MissQuin!!! Poor sad, little Puffin!!
MissQuin on 06 Aug 2010 at 8:52 p.m. GMT
Don't worry, I'll send Parker Pyne round. He patches up all afaris of the heart, so Ive read. Glad we won't fight over rRchard. We don't want to fall out like Linnet and Jackie, do we?!
There's always Poirot left on the shelf if your interested Jill!! My excuse for not wanting him myself, is that I don't speak French and I think I'm taller than him.
Puffinjill on 07 Aug 2010 at 7:19 a.m. GMT
Well, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!!!!!! So I get Poirot while you swan off into the sunset with the younger, more attractive men!! Is that the best I can do?! Actually I don't speak French either but, unlike you, I don't think I'm taller than him. Believe me, his fussy ways would certainly not be easy to live and neither am I, so this definately, DEFINATELY would not be a good idea.
MissQuin on 07 Aug 2010 at 11 a.m. GMT
Oops, sorry Jill! My little joke, um.. I don't know what to say to make amends! You get first pick of the fellows?
How about Colonel Despard, in his riding gear?! winks. That was one of the best things about the Cards adapt which I quite liked. Although I didn't like the changes, I could laugh them off, becasuse they were SO untrue!Total visitors online: 63

Just a little bit of light hearted humour for the ladies....
Who would you choose from Japp, Poirot or Hastings...
